My Internship

I'm going to San Francisco!! I am interning with the art teacher at Phoebe Hearst Preschool, working with kids aged two to five. In a nutshell, I will be learning from observing how they create art and learn about teaching art (and the art therapy philosophy behind this pre-K program) in a way that maximizes brain development, and of course is fun. This school is amazing: it was founded in 1879, and has a really fascinating and progressive art-based curriculum that I am looking forward to learning from (as well as contributing to!).
